Recently there has been a lot of criticism towards Monte Cristo’s casting. He has been repeatedly mentioning NYXL sandbagging their matches. NYXL has already qualified for Stage 1 playoffs and is well ahead of the curve when it comes to the Overwatch League Season 1. So the importance of their matches does come into question when we see their performances.
If you want fake narratives or feel-good false hope, watch a WWE match or a Disney movie. Don’t come to my casts expecting me to let you slip into that mindset.
