The top countries at the end of Season 9 were to qualify for the OWWC 2018. However, it seems Blizzard has not updated the leaderboards for the last few days leaving some fo the countries ineligible to play. A chance to play at OWWC 2018 could mean the big difference for a professional Overwatch players career. We have instances in the past when certain players such as Mickie have been picked up by EnVyUs for his performance on Team Thailand.
