SEG Esports, a worldwide management agency located in Amsterdam, has announced several new appointments, more than tripling its current roster of specialized esports agents and expanding into new countries.
The company, wholly owned by the SEG Group, a company that provides services to large multinational companies in IT, consulting, entertainment, and other areas of expertise, has recently announced several key additions to its talented team. Some of their details are as follows:
Adam Law and Joris Meijer will join SEG Esports as its two Co-Founders. Adam Law is one of the most experienced professionals at handling team finances and operations with teams like Renegades (North America), Mad Kings (Europe), Fnatic (Europe), and many others. He is also the former Chief Operating Officer of Fnatic. He’ll be based in Amsterdam. Joris Meijer will also be managing the finances of SEG Esports, and he’s a crucial part of SEG Group’s well-run finance department. His tasks can range from reviewing pro team budgets to choosing the best transfer fees or salaries for individual players or teams. He’ll be based in Cologne, Germany.

Kai Ingham, head of esports brand development at SEG Esports, will lead a new project called “Team Aces”. Team Aces is an initiative focused on exploring new territories and creating new opportunities in the esports industry through scouting and signing promising talents for their respective team franchises. Travis Doyle will join SEG Esports as a new Co-Founder and General Manager of its Asia Pacific team. Travis is one of the most experienced people within the OCE (Oceania, Australia) esports market. This market has been growing rapidly over the past two years with the formation of organizations such as Tainted Minds and Chiefs Gaming Club and players from this region making a name for themselves on some of the world’s biggest stages like Drackk and Kira joining Luminosity Gaming in 2016, or most recently Gorgon “Bunk” Roster from Tainted Minds joining Fnatic in 2017.
