T1 announces a collaboration with Razer

T1 Entertainment & Sports, a South Korean organization, has established a strategic collaboration with gaming peripherals manufacturer Razer. Details of this agreement are still scarce, but both parties will likely unveil more come the Gamescom conference this August.

Headquartered in San Diego, California, Razer Inc. manufactures computer hardware such as keyboards and mice for gamers and other high-end customers. The company’s line of products includes specialized keyboards like the Razer Blackwidow that employ RGB keys and have a programmable keyset; gaming mice like the Razer Mamba that use a 5G laser sensor and an ergonomic design to increase performance during competitive gameplay; and Blade Stealth laptop designed for powerful mobile performance.

“The T1 team is very enthusiastic to build a gaming brand with the Razer team,” said Seok-jin Hwang, CEO of T1 Entertainment & Sports. “We are excited about their razor-thin design and powerful performance.”

“T1 is one of the fastest-growing eSports brands,” said Min-Liang Tan, Razer co-founder, and CEO. “As esports grows on a global scale, we want to partner with more companies to expand our global reach. We look forward to working closely with T1.”

With this collaboration, Razer aims to expand its range of products that enhance the gaming experience beyond just keyboards and mice. Its most recent products, the Razer Stargazer and the Razer Stargazer Webcam are developed with Esports in mind. With a dedicated Esports mode, the Razer Stargazer allows both players and casters to stream at the highest quality possible without using a PC; the Razer Stargazer Webcam offers high-quality imaging capturing at 1080p with its 90-degree wide-angle lens.
