MoneyMatches, which was one of the foremost investors into Game Gauntlet has decided to pull out. Game Gauntlet is touted as a Gaming themed cruise. With the promise of pro players and celebrity gamers attending the cruise, it was touted as a huge success. It also promised the entire Dignitas CSGO roster to be in attendance.
However most of the promises definitely have not been fulfilled. THe Gaming cruise has also not made any money and is largely deemed to be unsuccessful. MoneyMatches have accused the company of falsifying information in order to gain investment. They also lied about their sponsorship deal with Red Bull.
“We would like to address the information being put out,” Curtis Smith wrote. “For starters, it is technically correct. At the same time, it is also being taken out of context.”
