Call of Duty : Black Ops 4 Blackout will have its first tournament during Twitchcon 2018

Doritos will host a Doritos Bowl Tournament at TwitchCon 2018 in the new Blackout Battle Royale Mode in Call of Duty 4. Despite being most well known for its multiplayer gameplay, Call of Duty has also jumped onto the Battle Royale Bandwagon with its very own Blackout version.

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 still features the multiplayer mode as its USP, however, the Blackout mode is an expansion to the game. And if early reviews are any indication, Blackout is definitely receiving a lot of love from the community. We already have several big streamers pick up the Blackout mode and live stream their gameplay on Twitch.

Twitch Con will take place from October 26-28.

With the Doritos Bowl featuring several top streamers competing at TwitchCon, it is bound to give a huge boost to the game’s popularity.

I am very excited to be involved in Doritos Bowl; the event should be really fun, and I am quite interested to see how my team will stack up against the squads that Ninja, DrLupo, and CouRage have put together. Most importantly, I am pumped to get hooked up with ridiculous amounts of Doritos.

COD Black Ops 4 is yet to receive a single player campaign.

TwitchCon 2018 will take place at the San Jose Convention Center in San Jose, California from October 26-28. Most of the biggest Twitch streamers are seen at the event every year. PepsiCo will unveil more details about the event at a later date.

Doritos Bowl takes the brand’s long history in gaming to new heights and puts us front and center within the gaming community. When you have names and partners like Doritos, Twitch, and Ninja all joining forces, you know it’s going to be an epic event. We hope this will be something unlike anyone has ever seen in gaming.

Doritos Bowl 2018

Pepsico’s Doritos brand will partner with Twitch to host the first ever Blackout tournament.

The Doritos Bowl 2018 will feature four of the top Twitch Streamers as Team Captains. Dr.Lupo, Shroud, Ninja and CouRage are the four streamers who will have their very own teams at the Doritos Bowl 2018.

Here are the four teams that will be in participation at the event.

The four teams with their team captains are all comprised of famous streamers in the BattleRoyale genre.

The BlackOut mode is currently still in beta phase across various platforms like PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The full version of Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 will release on October 12.
