A recent opinion by Youtube streamer TrilluxeCS has put forth the question as to why CSGO does not have a tournament featuring streamers and Content Creators. He suggests something similar to how Fortnite and PUBG operate. However, there is a fundamental problem with this opinion. While Fortnite and PUBG are more solo and less of a team game as Counter Strike. They also have a much less of tactical approach compared to Counterstrike, its map pool and the various intricacies within the game.
Dear @csgo_dev @basisspace. Will you ever consider doing Streamer/Youtuber Tournaments or Events as the likes of H1Z1, PUBG or Fortnite? Is there a reason why you don't? Such an easy way to generate a massive reach for the game again and others have proven the impact of such. 🤔
