Valve might be en route to disallowing coach signatures in game

Valve has already implemented strict rules with how coaches are viewed in the CSGO Community. From previously barring coaches from being present within the playing booths and imposing restrictions on their communications with the players within rounds, Valve have been strict about how their game is played.

With the upcoming major being held in Boston, some of the players have had issues in securing visas and entering the states. There have been others who cannot play due to roster lock rules ( SK Gaming Boltz) and some others such as Device who are hospitalized. Some of these teams will be using their coaches as stand-in and Valve might be considering not allowing coach signatures from making themselves into the game.

This is not official yet, but this it might be a possibility according to Peacemaker.
