Some interesting data here, if you went back one year ago from today to see the top 4 CS:GO teams playing, you would probably of thought they would still be high ranked about now. But that is not the case, as you can see by the 2 graphics below — only VP was able to hold a top 4 spot let alone 1st place.
- TSM 2015 = 1st
- TSM 2016 = 12th
- fnatic 2015 = 2nd
- fnatic 2016 = 21st
- Virtus.Pro 2015 = 3rd
- Virtus.Pro 2016 = 1st
- EnvyUs 2015 = 4th
- EnvyUs 2016 = 10th
I wonder if it has something to do with the fact they have not had a roster change in well over 2 years. The others TSM, fnatic, and EnvyUs have all either had roster changes, including coaches, or a total mament change all together.
