Parimatch, a multinational betting company, reiterated its efforts to fight corruption in esports matches and sportsmen, after being the latest to join the ESIC.
The new membership is complemented by FederBet’s existing Parimatch collaboration, which focuses on fraud prevention. In order to investigate possible cases of match-fixing and fraud, the new deal will provide ESIC with betting details.
Members include Unikrn, Betway and Rivalry, these esports betting sites have sworn to be integral to the esports betting community.

“We see no reason why traditional sports and sports are different and we value each fan’s preference. We have therefore not declined to support ESIC in fraud prevention and are grateful for this initiative from our ESIC team.
“Targeted steps to recognise distrust in esports will benefit the sector at large, both for those who are addicted to betting and for ordinary fans of sports to be sustainable and effective.” Parimatch emphasised that its ESIC membership is “underscoring its belief in the value of fostering openness and honesty in traditional sports as well as in the field of gaming.
Ian Smith, ESIC Commissioner, said: “We are pleased to welcome Parimatch to our global network of anti-match fixing supporters. Getting a key betting operator with an enormous range of sports on the Russian language is a major step forward for ESIC in extending its suspicious betting alert system.
