Immortals acquire rights to MiBR trademark

The original MiBR trademark has not sponsored a Counter Strike team since 2011. The MiBr team was extremely famous globally as they featured some of the best professionals from Counter Strike 1.6. Immortals has consistently featured Brazilian players some of whom went on to the finals of the previous Major.

The team which featured Cogu as one of their main players was one of the most famous Brazilian teams. It was indeed the only Brazilian team to travel to ESWC, one of the Counter Strike 1.6 Majors.

MiBR began in Rio de Janerio in 2003 after Paulo Velloso invested in his son’s Counter-Strike team, which would eventually become the best team in Brazil. The organization would eventually roster the only Brazilian team to win ESWC, one of the Majors in Counter-Strike 1.6. The most notable player to play for MiBR is Raphael “cogu” Camargo, who played for the organization for over five years. Cogu has had limited success in CS:GO, most recently standing-in for Immortals during their ELEAGUE Premier matches.
