ESL will be using the new active map pool immediately. The next big tournament is the IEM Sydney 2018 and they will be using Dust 2 instead of Cobblestone on the map pool. Valve’s recent decision to shake up the active map pool will be taken as a precedent and teams will have to play on Dust 2. With only 4 days left for the tournament, we don’t expect a lot of teams to pick Dust 2. Instead, the map should be a permanent veto for most of the teams.
