Nerd Street Gamers, a provider of esports infrastructure, has named American football player JuJu Smith-Schuster as its brand ambassador.
Smith-Schuster will now work with the company on various projects, including the launch of an esports camp, as a result.
She’ll also host tournaments with open qualifiers and esports pros, in addition to co-hosting the camps.
“Our partnership with JuJu is all about providing access to technology and gaming for those who need it most. With JuJu’s background and personal experience with that mission in gaming, we are confident he will help us tackle this problem in the esports industry.
“We can’t wait to develop never-before-seen tournaments with him that enable gamers of all ages and skill levels to enter the playing field.” said Nerd Street Gamers CEO John Fazio in a press release.
This is a problem in the esports industry, and we believe JuJu can help us solve it.
“We look forward to working with him to create previously unheard of tournaments that allow players of all ages and skill levels to compete.”
Smith-Schuster is now a brand ambassador for the second time, following HyperX’s renewed partnership with the player in July.
He added: “I am super excited to partner with Nerd Street Gamers on bringing esports and gaming access to everyone all across America. Together we’re going to provide accessible gaming camps, and create great platforms for people to compete – no matter where they’re from or what their previous experience in the esports world has been.”
