Jack Link’s and Fnatic announce partnership

A multi-year collaboration with North American beef jerky snack company Jack Link’s has been revealed by leading British esports organization Fnatic.

Following a successful activation in 2019, according to the statement, the two entities have once again teamed up as Jack Link seeks to strengthen its reach across EMEA and build its brand in the esports ecosystem.

The Jack Link logo will be displayed immediately across the right sleeve of all Fnatic team jerseys as a result of the collaboration and across the right sleeve of its retail jersey from May.

In addition, Fnatic and Jack Link’s will partner on a variety of activations and content to provide esports fans with high-protein goods. This includes in-game activations, plus ‘online and physical tools’ powered around the professional players of Fnatic. It has yet to announce the exact length of the contract.

Neil Walker, Collaborations Manager at Fnatic commented: “Gamers need a consumable respite in a fast-paced online competition that gives them the energy to get through their grind.”

“We have a performance-first philosophy at Fnatic, to ensure that gamers always play at their best.”

The selection of Jack Connect by Fnatic as its first global snack partner reflects the continued business development of the company with the esports organization securing a number of sponsors for the 2021 esports season. In addition to Jack Link, Fnatic’s partners also include, among others, Hisense, Monster Energy, and BMW.

The relationship was also discussed by Jan Pieter Schretlen, Managing Director of Jack Link’s EMEA: “Our products are the perfect snack, whether at home or on the go, at work or during leisure activities such as gaming.”

Beef Jerky is a natural protein source that offers lasting nutrition and thus promotes resilience. We want to be a real partner to help gamers at all levels and to create relationships in both professional and amateur gaming.
