Le Mans Virtual 24 Hours in conjunction with Motorsports Games, the Saudi Arabian Federation for Electronic and Intellectual Sports (Safeis) has been announced as the official title sponsor.
After welcome FIA Formula E and the Dakar Rally in Saudi Arabia before the starting of the 19-year VOID Conference in Saudi Arabia, the nation has now expanded its support to the world-class motor race by supporting the inception of the Virtual Le Mans Race through SAFEIS.
The 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual will see a field of top motorsports and Esports drivers from around the world take on the iconic French circuit together in the most famous endurance race of all. This race will take place on Factor 2, with a list that will include a quarter from the Formula One field now under consideration, forms F1, IndyCar and Le Mans champion, plus of the championship-winning sim racer, which will be separated by two separate divisions (LMP and GTE) and will cover the 24 hours.
SAFEIS’s goal is to promote Saudi Arabia ‘s ambition to be a worldwide playground and link the world through sports with as much as six million gamers in Saudi alone. A week after the conclusion of ‘Gamers without Borders,’ the sponsorship of the 24 Hours of Le Mans Virtual follows the SAFEI initiative which brought together 24 million participants in more than 80 countries.
