North America Scholastic Esports partners with British Esports Association

The UK Esports Association, the North American Scholastic Esports Federation (NASEF), has entered into a partnership.

The organisations have entered an agreement to cooperate on new programmes, to conduct joint tournaments and exchange programmes across the UK and North America.

The partnership aims to share different approaches to education in sports with a view to establishing new industry standards at grassroots and academic levels.

Andy Payne OBE, Chairman of the British Esports Association Advisory Board, said in a press release: “We are very pleased to participate in NASEF and focus on mutual learning in education on gaming. In the last few years, some good initial steps have been taken in this area, and we can combine forces, develop new programmes, and work more strongly together by teaming up with another respected organisation. “Now, in its 4th year, the British Esports Association is increasing awareness of, and education around, UK ski sports, including starting up and developing UK sports.”

Sports have gone a long way from being a small, almost unknown niche industry. It grew steadily and expanded its global presence successfully and real money betting boomed right next door.
