Draft King’s Head of Engineering moves to Dublin Office

In a recent DraftKings review, the top brass of the popular fantasy sports giant decided that their new office in Dublin’s Irish capital needed a strong presence. To this end, the former Boston engineering director, Dan Kesack, moved to the new facility from his former headquarters.

In November 2019 DraftKings  Dublin Base was built and created to work closely with a rich source of untapped engineering talents in and around the Irish capital.

Mr. Kesack plans to increase the DraftKing team of on-site engineers, a phase that has already started with the same change by three former US workers a few weeks ago.

A group of employees together with Mr Kesack will lead the field to hire excellent technical talents in this part of the world. The team will then help to acclimate the new employees to their DraftKings jobs once hired.

Recruitment has been positive until now. A total of four locally operated engineers were assigned to work in St. Stephens Green offices and ads for an additional 10 positions to be filled in the next weeks and months are currently available on the Web site.

Since joining the team before opening Dublin’s base in October, Jack Murphy, who previously was with B2B Travelport, leads the Dublin office.

Mr. Kesack, speaking of his move from the US to the green shores of Ireland, stated: “I have taken advantage of the opportunity to bootstrap engineering teams and to contribute to instilling the same passion for sport and technology that has made DraftKings Boston so amazing place to work.”

DraftKings has not tried to do business on the other side of the Atlantic for the first time in recent months. Last year, SB Tech, a betting services company based in London, bought the company under the contract with the acquisitions firm Diamond Eagle Acquisition Corp.

The company hopes to become a busy time with a range of other transactions and innovations for fantasy sports, sports betting and sports betting, including a mobile sports betting service recently announced. The business will also work on the new LCS and LEC fantasy games, which are popular with several players who are dedicated to the growing fantasy of the fantasy sports industry.

That is the news this DraftKings will be serving as their official daily fantasy sports affiliate with the famous NBA Basketball team Boston Celtics.
