LEC sees new Kit Kat sponsorship deal

A new sponsor has been revealed with just hours to spare before the launch of the League of Legends European Championship. Candy bar Kit Kat meets the LEC for fun amid interruptions, although the exact content continues to be announced.

LEC revealed its collaborations with Kia Motors and Alienware had already extended earlier this month. Coming returning as backers for the 2020 season were Logitech G, Warner Music, Tchibo and Beko. The new official player chair sponsor was announced this week.

The LEC was one of Western Esport’s most successful seasons in 2019, with regard to spectatorship and participation, so it is not surprising that Riot was able to gain lots of sponsorships for the 2020 LEC.
