Danish team North announced that Kjærbye, a part of the rebranded and restructuring program unveiled on Tuesday, will remain with CS:GO club.
At the beginning of the 2018 season, Kjærbye signed with North, coming from Astrali in a move that at that time drew great attention. Kjærbye helped the team to win four significant victories in his two seasons with North, the biggest being the Stockholm DreamHack Masters in 2018.
In 2018, North won DreamHack Open Tours, and in Valencia (2018) and Sevilla (2019) the DreamHack Open.
Kjærbye helped his club in three tournaments with six-figure awards while with Astralis.
The selection of the 21-year-old means that the team of North remains fully comprised of Danish players.
