On 4th of June, Apex Legends received an update that brought the limited time mode, Legendary Hunt. The event will be available for two weeks and adds unique visuals and challenges to King’s Canyon. The updates also brings the Apex Elite queue, which allows you to enter a new which which will only consists of the top five squads in the last game. Users who own the Battle Pass will also receive additional skins for the R301 weapon.
In addition to the event, developer Respawn has announced some changes to the season 2 Battle Pass, such as more legendary skins and reduced time required to reach level 100. Apex Legends is available for free for PC (Origin), PS4 and Xbox One. Let’s have a comprehensive look into the updates that arrived last night.
The Legendary Hunt is a limited-time event scheduled to last for two weeks. During that time, a number of unique expansions will be available, ranging from visuals and game items to benefits to gain experience (XP) more easily.
The game also introduces the Apex Elite queue, a special section for the matchmaking system to play a match only with squads that will include only the top five squads of the last match. To continue participating in this queue, it is necessary to finish among the top five squads.
The event introduces a number of new visuals. You can get some through challenges such as the Hunt Master skin for the character Bloodhound. Players who hold the first season’s Battle Pass will automatically receive the legendary R-301 Honorable Skin, and those who reach level 15 of the pass will be treated to the legendary Night Terror skin for Wraith. Other cosmetics are also available for purchase at the Apex Store.

XP in Double
To facilitate players’ progress, Respawn and EA will host a weekend with double EXP. The bonus lasts from 2:00 pm on Friday (7) until 2:00 pm on Monday (10). In addition, during the Legendary Hunt, the first match completed among the top 5 squads will guarantee an entire level of the Battle Pass. This bonus is only earned once a day.
Season 2 Battle Pass
The developers also broke the silence on the next battle pass. The new season will have more challenges, more legendary visuals in the rewards pool, and the expected time to reach level 100 has been significantly reduced.
The developers also noted that every three to four days new items of the Legendary Hunt will appear in the store, replacing the previous ones. Whether the replaced skins will ever return to the game is unknown.
Mike shroud Grzeszik and Tyler Skadoodle Latham were unhappy with the new update of Apex Legends. The developers have reduced the accuracy of shooting while sliding. The Canadian said he would not play Apex, until the developers fix the bug. However, it is not clear if this is a bug: Respawn Entertainment did not comment on the situation.
