Dota 2 Roster Changes : Keen Gaming changes players and Lanm’s new team ‘Deathbringer Gaming’

The Dota 2 landscape is full of roster changes and player movements. With the first Dota 2 Major coming up very soon in November 2018, teams are scrambling to put together their best team forward for the next DPC season. The Kuala Lumpur Major will take place from the 9th of November 2018 till the 18th of November. It will have a prize pool of $1 million up for grabs with $500,000 and 4950 DPC points going to the first place team.

The Kuala Lumpur Major is the first Major of DPC 2018-19

Keen Gaming adds Kaka and Eleven.

Hu “Kaka” Liangzhi

Keen Gaming failed to qualify for TI8 in what was a big disappointment to the organisation. In order to add more firepower to their roster, they have now decided to replace three members on the team. Joining Keen Gaming will be Hu “Kaka” Liangzhi and Ren “ELeVeN” Yangwei. The two players are well known in the Dota 2 community having played for Ehome back in 2015. However, during the interim period, they have mostly been on loan to various organisations and without much success. They have several years of experience and this will definitely come in handy when they play the Chinese Qualifiers for the Kuala Lumpur Major.

Ren “eLeVeN” Yangwei

Joining Keen Gaming along with the two veterans will be  Huo “sss” Xiaolei. He does not have much experience of playing at such a high level. It is important for the veterans on the team to guide him in his first performance on the main roster for any team.

The Keen Gaming roster is as follows:

  •  Huo “sss” Xiaolei
  • Zhai “Ying” Jingkai
  •  Ren “ELeVeN” Yangwei
  • Hu “Kaka” Liangzhi
  •  Song “dark” Runxi

LANM announces his new Dota 2 team: Deathbringer Gaming

Zhang “LaNm” Zhicheng

Former Vici Gaming LANM will be forming a new team along with several well-known Chinese players. LANM was with Vici Gaming till recently but a string of poor performances and especially their inability to make an impact at The International 2018 impacted this decision.

The new team is known as DeathBringer Gaming, it seems to be a temporary name until they find an organisation to represent. This team already has some really good players from the Chinese scene.

DreathBringer Roster:

  • Lanm
  • MS
  • Freeze / kamma
  • Guvara
  • Hym

Guvara and HYM have played previously on Ehome and they join this team. They will be joined by MS who has experience playing on Keen Gaming.Luminous but without much success. The new team does have some really good talent, but whether they can be successful together is only a matter of time.

We will see them in action at the Chinese qualifiers for the Kuala Lumpur Major.
