The last team to be invited to DreamHack Valencia is G2 esports. The new French roster under the leadership of Ex6tenz will be a strong contender for the tournament. They are currently in the playoffs of ESL One Cologne and they face off against BIG Gaming in the quarterfinals of the tournament.
Who Will Win The DreamHack Valencia 2018?
Bookies are currently putting down the following odds at Betway esports;
- G2 Esports – 11/5 favourites
- North – 47/20
- pro – 4/1
- AGO Esports – 6/1
- Heroic – 8/1
- Luminosity Gaming – 12/1
- Fragsters – 16/1
- Giants Gaming – 33/1
Of all the teams in Valencia, only one claimed this year’s DreamHack series–the West. Fragsters, Heroic and North have all locked third and fourth over the year.
That said, this week in Valencia north is the place to choose from the eight teams. It’d be my pick here too. I assume they’re significantly stronger than the six most possible ones. I think that their form is a little more inconsistent though G2 Esports is a threat. In Malmö in 2017, they won their final DreamHack game.
Although some of the bigger stars are currently lacking in the CS: GO community, games at DreamHack are usually thrilling. They generate high-quality activities and sometimes shock.
The reason many teams have missed the ELEAGUE Premier 2018 event is probably that it is preparing for this big event. It will be released on July 21st in Atlanta and has a prize pool of $1,000,000.
