Rogue have been undergoing a series of poor results lately. Their latest tournament saw them placing 13th in the ESL Pro League. As a result they ended up making an emergency roster change request to EPL. Wrath refused to play for Rogue after he heard that he was going to be benched. This left Rogue in a very unique situation and they would have to play in the relegation for the $1 million league.
The emergency transfer process was created by WESA in September following the internal issues that left Immortals without a five-man roster to play in the league. It can be granted “in the event of extraordinary circumstances” and allows a team to complete a roster change outside of the transfer window.
