Immortals have been making changes to their CSGO roster ever since the trio of Lucas, Hen1 and Kngv were benched from the active roster. The trio were involved in unprofessional behaviour ( turning up late for finals and partying the night before). This decision by Immortals cost them a major Legends spot and definitely is one of the reasons why this team has to struggle and scout for new talent now. Having tasted success in the Brazilian talent, Noah Whinston has once again turned towards Brazil to find the new players.
It seems the wait is over as Immortals have announced SHZ as their new player. SHZ used to play for team Remo Brave in Brazil. He was definitely the MVP for the team as he has consistently proven himself both online and LAN. He is just 19 years old and definitely has a lot of room to grow.
The official statement on the Immortals website reads as :
Immortals’ roster has recently undergone a lot of change as we re-establish ourselves and figure out a winning formula. While we’re happy with our recent acquisitions, we also wanted to round out our roster and provide a more supportive pick. We’d like to introduce the perfect player for that purpose: Bruno “shz” Martinelli. Shz has been playing Counter-Strike for five years, and he entered the professional scene last year.
Shz is an untapped talent. He previously competed on Remo Brave in Brazil, scoring the honor of MVP in his first LAN tournament. He moved on to play with Luminosity, where he played with new recruit Lucas “Destinyy” Bullo. The two will now be reunited on Immortals.
While shz isn’t a well known name in the CS:GO scene, we know his career is just starting. At 19, he has ton of potential and room to grow, and Immortals are confident we can provide him with the support he needs. Despite his age, we were impressed with his maturity and dedication. We’re looking forward to working with shz and seeing him develop his raw talent.
