Razer has been one of the brands which supported esports since the very beginning. They launched a lot of platforms, one of which included the brackets.
The Razer Arena was a way for tournament organisers to organise their tournament brackets and hand out more information about the same. However with competition coming up in the way of toornament.com and battlefy, Razer Arena got less viewership numbers.
In a recent statement put out on the website, Razer has retired the platform.
“Dear Arena users,
With the successful launch of zVault and tremendous reaction from the new Razer Cortex, we’ve exciting new features to bring you. And to make this happen, we’re going to consolidate our services and retire Razer Arena on 25 May, 2017. Users are encouraged to seek alternative tournament bracket platforms to run your tournaments in advance of that date.
With regards to zSilver, you may continue to earn them through zGold purchases, Razer Insider, and
On behalf of the entire Arena team, we would like to thank all of you for your support for Razer Arena.
This will be a paid feature that will be up for grabs. It will be interesting to watch how it develops.
