Valve finds a way to curb cheating in Chinese CSGO

Valve recently announced the release of Counter Strike Global Offensive in China. The announcement came with the news of a new feature for players in Chinese CSGO. Smurfing and hacking are two big issues in CSGO internationally.

In order to make the process of playing Valve’s FPS game in China a smooth process, we will see all CSGO accounts linked to Alipay.

Alipay is a third party payment platform in China. Launched by the Alibaba group, Alipay forms the biggest payment platform in China with over 400 million registered users. CS GO in China will be linked to a Alipay account.

The Alipay accounts will be linked to CSGO accounts. Any person found to be hacking or using any illegal activities within the game will be permanently banned from the game. They will not be allowed to play CSGO yet again. This is definitely a very good process of ensuring a cheat free and smooth transition process.
