Brisk from PepsiCO to sponsor RLCS

The Rocket League Championship Series Season 3 begins broadcasts on Saturday 11th March and just three days before that, the RLCS has announced via Twitter that PepsiCo’s Brisk will be sponsoring the RLCS this season.

Brisk is a tea brand with revenues upwards of $1 billion. It is already involved in the esports scene having sponsored Optic gaming in the past. They will now partner with Twitch and Psyonix as they sponsor Season 3 of RLCS. Psyonix have been following through on their promise of investments into the Rocket League eSports scene. They have promised to invest over $2.5 million into esports in Rocket League.

“In 2017, we are investing more than $2.5 million dollars into Rocket League Esports. This investment means that players all over the world can expect to see a number of significant changes to our competitive ecosystem.”

Psyonix are keeping to this with announcements of $5000 2v2 tournaments at both PAX East and SXSW that are open to attendees of both events.
