In a recent move, Tyloo had unexpectedly expelled two of their CSGo players. They also suspended Somebody from their official team. The reason given was approaching other teams. Poaching and approaching other teams outside of contracts is looked down upon severely in China. As such it is obvious that the Chinese team will go to extreme lengths to keep the integrity and the stability of their team intact.
On first reading about the report, there has been a statement made by the players. The players rebutted that there was no contract signed and as such they were free to look for greener pastures.
You can read the statement below; it was first published on HLTV.
First of all, the players never actually had a contract in writing with TyLoo. The organization promised that the players would have the same basic salary for every single player but they failed their promise. DD, and fancy1 were later offered more salary but were told to not tell this to other teammates. DD accepted, fancy1 refused.
This caused resentment for attacker, somebody, and karsa. The organization didn’t keep their promise to pay everyone the same salary so players decided to leave. Then TyLoo made an alliance with the event organizers to ban the players.
We will give HLTV.org a more detailed statement on January 11.
The statement ends with a promise of another detailed statement on January 11. This controversy does not seem to be lying down anytime soon. We hope the Chinese scene gets back on track soon. They have some really talented individuals who have upset World Champions in the past. Stability, both economic and team are important for a player to function to the best of his abilities.
