HCS Pro League Season Fnals Will be held at DreamHack Events

The Halo Championships Pro League finals will be held at Dreamhack Atlanta and Dreamhack Denver in 2017. The North American HCS Pro League will span two seasons, as it did this year, with eight teams competing throughout seven weeks of the regular season online.

The game developers will be holding several community and player feedback. This will help them to overcome any issues or short sightedness on their part.

“The HCS Pro League has proven itself to be the destination to watch and play top competitive HaloIt’s been amazing to see the level of competition from teams and players, and we’ve all been captivated by the rivalries and storylines that have formed.”

DreamHack will be partnering with ESL to bring the HCS Pro League Finals to live events in the Rocky Mountains and on the East Coast. The tournament format also lends itself to more competition between professionals and amateur players, with the possibility of bringing your team to one of the 2017 DreamHack events and taking home the season championship title.

We are tremendously excited to bring the HCS Pro League Finals to DreamHack Atlanta and DreamHack Denver,” said Michael Van Driel, business development director at DreamHack. “2016 was a huge year for DreamHack; hosting our first ever events in North America, however our first events didn’t feature any FPS console esports. This partnership with ESL and 343 Industries makes perfect sense to bring an explosive end to the HCS Pro League Summer and Fall seasons, and implement an open bracket component so all visitors to DreamHack can participate!

The success of Dreamhack in North America in 2016 sees them come back to NA with a big focus. Their first-ever Las Vegas tournament is all set to be held from Feb 15-19. With Atlanta and Denver also on the calendar 2017 is packed with events in NA.

The dates for the two events are :

  • Dreamhack Atlanta : July 21-23
