Immortals League of Legends roster was left without any players after several players moved on to other organisations. That had raised questions about the longevity of the organisation in League. They still hold the spot at the LCS and hence it was but natural that they will try to form their own team yet again.
Immortals have signed their first player. The player is none other than Pobelter who was a member of Team Immortals in the past.
Pobelter has a long history in the North American NA LCS. He played on Winterfox and picked up a championship with Counter Logic Gaming before finally finding his home with Immortals. Throughout 2016 we worked closely with Pobelter, covering everything from in-game development to an assortment of life skills. We’ve formed a close bond with Pobelter and we’re proud to continue this partnership over the next two years and invest in helping Pobelter continue to grow.
Last year was one of my most enjoyable years as a pro gamer so far playing in LCS. So I figured, why not come back and have more good times on Immortals? – Pobelter
Immortals management who are working really hard to get together a team from the pool of available plaeyrs also have made a statement :
“We’re thrilled to bring Pobelter back to the Immortals League of Legends team for the next two years. Throughout 2016, Eugene was the bedrock of our roster and we look forward to achieving great things together with him.” –CEO Noah Whinston
