According to sources, Cloud9 might be re entering the Dota2 scene with a pickup of an existing roster. Cloud9 (C9) is an American esports organization. Sponsored by HTC and previously known as Cloud9 G2A, it fields teams in League of Legends, Call of Duty: Black Ops III, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive, Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft, World of Warcraft, Super Smash Bros. Melee, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Overwatch, Smite and Vainglory. They formerly had teams playing Dota 2 and Heroes of the Storm.
Their Dota2 roster was a fairly successful one after having received a direct invite to The International 2015. However after a few deflections from the team, Cloud9 disbanded in November 2015.
Pretty sure Cloud9 is in talks with acquiring Imperial's Dota 2 team. 😀

The Imperial Dota2 team which finished 4th in the recently concluded Dreamleague Season 6 will be most likely acquired by Cloud9.
This news was strengthened with Jack following all the players from Imperial gaming in the last few days.
Cloud9 has been well known to excel in the eSports that they have been indulging in. We hope they can help the Imperial guys to become much better in their results and move on to Majors.
