Muffin Lightning to Replace Echo Fox in Americas Qualifier Finals

Echo Fox the NA CSGO team has been pretty much been redundant due to internal problems that they faced after their series of disappointing results recently. With the majority of the team leaving the organisation, they would have been unable to participate in the Americas Qualifier Finals.

As such Eleague have announced that they are being replaced on short notice by Muffin Lightnings.

Due to unforeseen roster changes, Echo Fox has withdrawn from the upcoming ELEAGUE Major. As a result of the team’s decision, Muffin Lightning will replace Echo Fox in the upcoming Americas Qualifier Finals, to be held Saturday-Sunday, Dec. 3-4, at ELEAGUE Arena in Atlanta.

Muffin Lightning was the next highest ranking team in the closed online qualifier stage. They will join Immortals, Cloud9 and Team SoloMid (TSM) with the top two teams from the Americas Qualifier advancing to the ELEAGUE Major Qualifier, to be held Thursday, Dec. 15, through Sunday, Dec. 18.

Muffin Lightnings is the next highest team and hence they are naturally the most suited team for the invitation. The Muffin Lightning roster and other details can be found on their ESEA Page.

Their roster listed is as follows :

  • Sancz
  • Silent
  • ichiban
  • AkisCSGO
  • ArkiMonday

The team is still searching for sponsors and looking for an organisation to call home. Right now their next focus would be to qualify through the Qualifiers and obtain a decent standing.
