Na’Vi defeat RNG 2-0 to reach the Grand finals of the first Dota 2 major.

Natus Vincere defeated Royal Never Give up 2-0 in the Lower Bracket finals at Dreamleague Season 10. This ensures a path to the finals for the CIS Squad, where Tigers are waiting for them. The Lower Bracket finals was a very one-sided affair as Na’Vi trounced the Chinese squad to reach the Grand finals.

The Lower Bracket Finals saw Natus Vincere using Enigma in both the games. Game 1 saw Na’Vi pick up Enigma along with Chen and Storm Spirit. The combination of Chen and Enigma suggested a push lineup, Crystallise and Magical were able to dominate the game from the start. Magical has been a revelation for the Natus Vincere squad. Idan “MagicaL” Vardanian has played on relatively unknown teams prior to his stint on Na’Vi. Yet he has shown us that he is more than capable of competing with the very best in Dota 2.

The second game saw Royal Never Give Up always playing from behind. Despite having a really dominant top lane with the Gyrocopter and IO combination, RNG was not able to use it to their advantage. Their mid player suffered immensely, at one point behind by almost three levels.

For Na’Vi the selling point of this roster is their exceptional team play and coordination. The CIS Squad is able to constantly put up amazing performances mostly based on their team play. The Game 2 of the series, according to many analysts was in favour of RNG. However, Natus Vincere had a much better showing during the games and it was visible in their result.

Na’Vi now faces off against Tigers in the Grand finals. The Grand finals are a Best of Five affairs. The winner of the Grand finals receives an invitation to the upcoming Kuala Lumpur Major. It is a very important match for either team. You can catch all the action live on Twitch.
