The Dreamleague Dota 2 Minor is still underway and Dreamhack has already announced details for Season 11. The next season of the event will be in Stockholm and it will be a Dota 2 Major.

There are only five Dota 2 Majors for the current DPC season. As such every Major [ and accompanying Minor] carries a lot of importance. The DPC season is a way for teams to receive direct invites to The International 2019. The biggest single esports event in terms of prize money, The International 2019 will take place in Shanghai.

Dreamleague Season 11 is scheduled for March 14-24 with a $1 million prize pool. There will be sixteen teams competing at the Annexet Arena. Only the last three days will be thrown open to the live audience.

The date for the event suggests that it will be the third Dota 2 Major for the season. The second Major for the current DPC Season will take place from January 17-27, 2018. You can check out the schedule for the DPC events on the official webpage.

Na’Vi, Royal Never Give up and Tigers battle for the Kuala Lumpur Major spot.

The winner of the first Dota 2 Minor, the DreamLeague Season 9 will receive a direct invite to the Kuala Lumpur Major. This ensures that the winning team starts off on a strong note for the DPC season. An appearance at the Dota 2 Major would mean DPC points which contribute to the team’s chances of appearing at TI9.

Currently, there are three teams still remaining at the Dreamleague Season 9. Natus Vincere and Royal Never Give up play in the Lower Bracket Finals. The winner of this match will face off against Tigers who are yet to lose a match at the event.
