Today we are announcing that Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik has decided to step down from the Counter Logic Gaming CS:GO roster. Subroza has been with the team for a little over six months now and has worked incredibly hard to get to where is today. When Subroza first joined the team alongside nahtE, we weren’t sure what to expect. In the time he has been on the team, we’ve learned that he is a great teammate, selfless, and always willing to learn. Unfortunately, a few days ago he notified the team that he would like to step down and return home for personal reasons.
We are sorry to see Subroza leave, but believe that he has the skill and aptitude to return to the competitive scene when he feels he is ready. We wish him all the best and look forward to seeing him return.
“It was a great experience being on Counter Logic Gaming for the past half year. I hope to return to the professional scene soon, and when I do – I hope to come back stronger. Thank you everyone for supporting me.”

Finding a Replacement
Upon learning that Subroza wished to step down, we immediately began looking for a permanent replacement. In the meantime, James “Hazed” Cobb has agreed to stand-in temporarily for our upcoming matches. We want to thank Hazed for agreeing to this on short notice.
We will be looking for a veteran and proven player that can work well with the team. The team has been making great strides finding their form and we hope to find a player that can help take us back on the international stage once again. Thank you CLG fans for all your continued support.
