IBuypower were banned from competing in Valve sponsored events indefinitely following their match fixing allegations. They threw a match against the then Netcodeguides and were banned indefinitely from Valve events. While other event organisers are still free to use them in their events, most of the other organisers have followed Valveś path and refused to let the players play in their leagues.
Yesterday Emilio VAC banned French player has signed up to play in the Premier matches. This definitely poses a problem as Emilio was caught with cheats on his equipment and hence banned via VAC.
Dazed raises a legitimate question where VAC banned players are allowed to play in premier matches but Dazed and ex-IBP players are not. The ban has definitely put a huge dent in the revenues for Dazed. He can hardly stream any matches as he simply does not play in any matches. Hence any potential income for the ex professional has dwindled to minute amounts.
