Tyloo’s players were trying to get their best interests at the forefront. They were trying to attain a good deal for themselves. This was, according to players, mainly becuase they were not contractually obligated by Tyloo.
However on the release of this news, it has been learnt that Tyloo claims they were actually under contract. Them approaching other teams actually violates several clauses of the contract. It also damages the internal behaviour of the team as others felt left out in the process. It has severely damaged the brand of Tyloo.
Since then, the players have been banned from certain tournaments due to their behaviour. We have seen similar stranglehold on the player’s careers in other esports such as Dota2. Richard Lewis talks about WESG decision to ban players based on the news article itself.
