PEA turns to Blizzard after CSGO Fiasco

PEA has been turned down by the CSGO community. Their exclusivity clause put them in a negative spotlight with the community not wanting the exclusivity clause attached with their gameplay.

It has been learnt that post their departure from CSGO, PEA are looking forth to enter Blizzard’s ecosystem to create a league system. However Blizzard already have plans for their very own league. The Overwatch League which is set to launch in Q3 of 2017 will see city level teams participating. It will usher in a new era in the competitive scene with teams working their way up from grass roots.

PEA definitely has been a league which has run into various types of controversies recently. It will be interesting to see how the Overwatch community will be accepting the new league with its exclusivity clause.
