This, naturally, costed G2 Esports thousands of dollars.
However, our players' well being will always be put in front of our own.

Following a recent report of a confusion over the contract between Eleague and team owners, it has now been learnt that Gamers2 have decided to give all the appearance fees to the players as if it was Prize Money. The contract between Eleague and team owners stated that they will be given an exclusive $30000 appearance fee. The contract was worded in such as way that it seemed the appearance fee would be different from the prize pool.
However Eleague recently stated otherwise. The $30000 promised to the teams is supposed to be inclusive of the prize pool. This naturally has several NA teams in confusion over their stance on the matter. With many organisations signing on just because of the appearance fee, it is expected that there will be backlash from the community.
Gamers2 who were quite successful in Eleague Season 1 have now decided to give the players all the appearance fee. This was partly due to a misunderstanding on their part of the contract terms. They will stand to lose thousands of dollars due to the fact that they have already spent quite a lot of amount on the players expenses for the tournament.
