ESL is one of the leading tournament organisers in the world of eSports. With several tournaments being held all over the globe on a regular basis the company has established itself as a household name in eSports. Their first venture into American soil started a few years ago with ESL New York. Initially hosting Dota2, the tournament also saw CSGO being added to its list last year.
The tournament was a resounding success with several other freebies such as Virtual Reality and Player Signing sessions being held with alarming regularity. The production quality has been top notch including many of the most notable members of the CSGO community.
ESL have now signed a deal with the venue, Barclayś center for four years to host esports events annually at the venue. It is a sign of trust and belief that ESL has in eSports growth. The continuous investments and mainstream media coverage that eSPort seems to be getting in the last few weeks definitely has been a major reason for this decision.
